BookingWith

Salon booking app for Singapore hair, nail and lash businesses

BookingWith is a salon booking app made for Singapore. Clients open your booking link, see the times you're really free, pick a haircut, colour, nails or lash appointment and pay a deposit by PayNow straight to you. They can reschedule themselves, and you run it all from your phone. The first month is free.

Part of our guide to online booking in Singapore.

Why salons move from WhatsApp to a booking link

Most small salons in Singapore take bookings by WhatsApp or Instagram DM. It works until you're mid-colour with foils in and three people are asking "any slot on Sat?". By the time you reply, one has gone elsewhere, and another books and then doesn't turn up.

A booking page answers "when are you free?" for you, at any hour, and asks for a deposit before the slot is held. You keep WhatsApp for the conversations that need you.

What your clients see

Your page lives at bookingwith.synthwork.app/your-salon. It lists your services with prices and how long each takes. A client taps one, sees only the times you can take it, and books in a few taps on their phone.

See an example booking page (a pet groomer's; a salon's works the same way)

Stop no-shows with a PayNow deposit

A no-show on a two-hour colour is half an afternoon gone. A client who has paid a deposit has a reason to turn up, or to tell you early.

The deposit goes to your own PayNow, by UEN or mobile number. BookingWith never holds the money and charges nothing on it. The client pays from their banking app and taps "I've paid"; you check your bank, tap Confirm payment, and the booking is confirmed.

Set one default deposit for the salon, then change it per service: more for a long colour or a full lash set, less or nothing for a fringe trim.

Clients change their own bookings

On paid plans, clients can move or cancel a booking from their booking page until your cut-off. You choose it: any time before the start, or 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours ahead. After that, they see a button to message you instead.

Moving a booking keeps the deposit with it, so nobody pays twice and you don't have to remember who paid for which day. The freed slot goes straight back on your page for someone else.

Works with what you already use

What it costs

Your first month of Solo is free, with no card needed. After that, during our launch, Solo is S$1 a month (usually S$15) or S$10 a year, paid by PayNow. There's no commission and no fee per booking.

If you don't pay, your salon moves to the Free plan: the page stays online for 20 online bookings a month, and deposits, online changes, Google Calendar and reminders switch off until you do.

Solo is one calendar. That suits a solo stylist, nail tech or lash artist, or a small salon that shares one diary. Team and Business plans, with a calendar for each staff member, are coming soon.

Questions

Can I take a deposit for lash sets?

Yes. Each service has its own deposit, so a full lash set or a long colour can ask for more than a quick trim. Leave it empty to use your salon's default, or set 0 for no deposit.

What if a client is late or doesn't come?

The deposit was paid to your PayNow when they booked, so it's already with you. Whether you keep it or move it to a new date is your policy. Write that policy in your service descriptions so clients read it before they book.

Can clients rebook themselves?

Yes, on paid plans. They open their booking, choose a new date or time from your free slots, and the deposit moves with it. After your cut-off, they're asked to message you on WhatsApp instead.

Do I need a website?

No. Your booking page does that job. Put the link in your Instagram bio, WhatsApp Business profile or Google Business Profile, or print it on a card at your station.

Does it work for a home-based salon?

Yes. Your address is optional, so you can leave it off your public page and send it to clients yourself once they've booked.

Can I stop anytime?

Yes. There's no contract and no card on file: you pay by PayNow, a month or a year at a time. If you stop, you keep a Free booking page with 20 online bookings a month.
